The confirmed release schedule will grant Season 2 Character Pass owners Early Access before the character is made available for individual purchase.

Some reports indicate a December 2nd or 5th release, which can be attributed to time zone differences, but the official worldwide announcement confirms the December 4th date for the general release.
Miary Zo: The Fighting God Reborn
Miary Zo is the first original DLC character for Tekken 8 and the first character in the history of the franchise to hail from Madagascar. Her development was taken seriously by Bandai Namco, with developers visiting the country to authentically honor the local culture and martial arts.
Fighting Style and Lore:
- Fighting Style: Miary Zo’s combat is a unique blend of Moraingy—a traditional Malagasy martial art—and animalistic moves inspired by ring-tailed lemurs. Her fighting philosophy is centered on the concept of the “Fighting God Reborn.”
- Gameplay Mechanics: The character utilizes a glowing blue staff (which she appears to summon mid-fight), a magical bracelet that summons snake spirits, and boasts exceptional agility. A unique mechanic allows her to cling to stage walls to set up new attacks or evades.
- Connection to Ogre: Her backstory reveals she possesses the “Power of the Silver Fighting God,” and her moves, particularly during Heat Mode, strongly resemble those of the iconic Tekken 3 boss True Ogre, including horn-based follow-ups and flame attacks. This connection has led fans to affectionately dub her “Waifu Ogre.”
The new character’s release will also introduce a brand-new stage, Baobab Horizon, which is inspired by her home country.
